The answer is almost certainly yes, since there were very few small families in Ireland at
that time. What McMenamin families in Ireland today have among their ancestors an
Owen who probably died in the early 1840's and whose wife Mary (Gallagher) and children
emigrated to America in 1847?

Probably some stayed and some left. How can I find them?

Owen's son John named his son John Francis. John Francis named his daughter
